Features · Consultation forms

Consultations done before they sit down.

Clients fill in your forms on their phone before they arrive, or on the salon iPad. Answers that need care are flagged on the calendar, and signed forms are kept just as they were.

Start from a template, or build your own

Ready-made forms for a new client consultation, colour and chemical services consent, and hair extensions, to change as you like. Or start from scratch, and add feedback forms after the visit.

  • Text, choices, dates, photos, ratings, agreement tick-boxes and a signature
  • Follow-up questions that only show for certain answers
  • A thank-you page after the form is sent

Sent to the clients who need them

Each form goes to new clients, clients booking certain services, or everyone, once, every visit or every few months, with the confirmation and reminder. Send one by hand any time, or hand a client the salon iPad in kiosk mode.

Flagged answers, on the calendar

Choose which answers to flag, like a yes to allergies. Flagged forms show on the calendar, and you can add the answers to the client’s alert, which shows in red everywhere they appear.

Patch tests, before you book

Mark the services that need a patch test, and booking one warns you when a client’s last test isn’t from six months to 48 hours before. Clients booking online are told they’ll need one.

Kept as they were signed

A filled-in form can’t be changed, so it stays a true record of what the client told you. Print it or save it as a PDF, and keep its photos with the client.

Questions

Do clients need an account to fill in a form?

No. The link in their message opens their form straight away.

Can clients fill in a form at the salon?

Yes. Press Fill in now on the appointment and hand them the iPad.

Can I change a client’s answers?

No. A filled-in form is kept exactly as it was sent, signature and all. Send it again for them to fill in afresh, or note anything new on their profile.

Does a flagged answer stop the appointment?

No. It’s a heads-up for the team: talk it through with your client before you start.
